The Skinny: The AVP has re-tooled their tour into 6 events representing two tiers: $150K Heritage Events (3) and $60K Contender Events (3).  Athletes at the Denver Open will be competing for prize money, points, pride and 2 auto berths in the $150K Manhattan Beach in August. Heritage events are limited to the best 12 teams and two teams from a qualifying tour event so punching a ticket with a Denver win is HUGE.

The Pros: The last 3 years we have seen Olympians in Denver like Phil Dalhausser, Alison Cerutti, Larissa Maestini and lots of tour favorites like Billy Allen, Kelley Kolinske, Geena Urango, Savvy Simo, Hagen Smith, plus many more. Who will be in Denver this year? You can check out the lineup on-line here.

The Qualifier: This year the qualifier has expanded from 1 day to 2 days, allowing more teams to compete for the dream of making an AVP Main Draw. Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to the up and comers. Come cheer on all Colorado's best as our local players compete against top teams from all around the county for a shot at the main draw.

The Main Draw: 24 teams per gender will compete in the Main Draw Saturday and Sunday. Come out and cheer on our Colorado Teams as well as the traveling pros.

Colorado Connections: Beach Bash Doubles was a qualifier for this event, placing one team in each gender for the July main draw.  Congratulations to our local main draw athletes including: TBD
